US attack on Iran

 2025 06 22 TS Trump Iran

Donald Trump, the president who returned to the White House in January promising to be a "peacemaker", has taken a dramatic step to insert the US into the fraught conflict between Iran and Israel.

Far from bringing peace to the Middle East since taking office, Trump is now presiding over a region on the precipice of even greater warfare - a fight in which America is an active participant.

[. . .]

Trump's rhetoric earlier this week that Iran had to "unconditionally surrender" had put the president in a position where it would be difficult for him to back down. Iran, with its own threats, had backed itself into a similar corner.

This is how wars start - and how they can expand beyond the control, and imaginations, of those involved.

On Thursday, Donald Trump gave the Iranians a two-week deadline but that turned out to be much shorter than expected - just two days. On Saturday night, the US president announced he had acted.

Trump did the exact opposite of why he was elected.

What the president of the United States did was profoundly unconstitutional, absolutely unlawful. Was an impeachable offense and a war crime. Under our Constitution only the Congress can declare war not the president and Congress can only declare war on a country that poses an immediate and grave military threat to the United States of America. President Trump has started a war with Iran which poses no threat, let alone immediate or grave whatsoever, to the national security of the United States of America.

[. . .]

The United States is a rogue nation right now that we are operating outside the framework of international law.

[. . .]

Israel initiated this by carrying out an unlawful illegal uh surprise attack with no justification.

[. . .]

We [The US] have crossed the Rubicon. This is a very dangerous path that we are undertaking and we don't have good leaders. We don't have good leaders making sound decisions and the proof of that is the decision they make to support this act of insanity.

It's a very clear and worrying new development that the west having lost the conventional war is now turning to to this sort of extreme um type of asymmetrical warfare.

Did we [the US] get authorization from the UN Security Council? No. Did we [the US] get authorization from the US Congress? No. Were we [the US] attacked? No. There's there's no justification for it.

Iran, up to this point, has not needed a nuke. Now it may very well have the the opposite effect of reinforcing the views of hardliners who long have insisted that Iran should build one, but the ayat has resisted it and said that it is against the tenants of Islam.

[. . .]

The message it sends is that here is Iran a country which is a signatory to the non-prololiferation treaty. It allows International Atomic Energy Agency inspectors at all of its nuclear facilities. They're the one that's attacked and they're attacked by a country [the US] that's supporting Israel, who refuses to sign the non-prololiferation treaty and who refuses to allow any outside inspectors of its nuclear sites. So the message that's now being sent to the world is that these international agreements are of no value. They are of no substance if anything. If you sign on and to allow IAEA inspections, it's going to be used by the CIA MI6 and MSAD to collect intelligence on you so that at some point down the road they can use that intelligence to attack you.

Follow the money!

As he boarded the night train to Ukraine,  Boris Johnson  had the usual entourage of aides and bodyguards – plus the man who had given him £1m

Less than a year had passed since Johnson accepted what is thought to be the largest donation ever to an individual MP. It was from Christopher Harborne, one of the UK’s biggest and most private political donors.

Harborne, whose millions helped bankroll Brexit, made the payment to a private company Johnson set up after resigning as prime minister. Now leaked files show that Johnson, a champion of Ukraine in office and since, was accompanied in September 2023 by his benefactor on a two-day visit that included meetings with top officials.

Vast amount of money lost to corruption!

the latest revelation has been a hundred million dollar payback scheme that was engineered by one of Zelinsky's close associates. And when that came up, that was about a week ago, maybe two week almost two weeks ago, it it was brought by the Ukrainian anti-corruption investigators and they have been put into gear mainly because of pressure by the United States. So, so that's kind of the tip of the iceberg. That that's just small potatoes because if we look at the total amount of money that's been pumped into Ukraine since 2022, it's about $360 billion. And out of that, I estimate that the corruption's running be somewhere between 15 and 30% of that. Probably towards the 30% line. That's what the auditors found with the involvement in the United States in Afghanistan. The corruption was running at 30% in Afghanistan. I think it's probably pretty close to that in Ukraine. So we're talking Mike about big bucks. We've got at 15% of the corruption money go lining the pockets of the of the corrupt 54 billion and at 30% it would be 108 billion.

Kick-backs?

The European leaders are ignorant and are the puppets of NATO. They are too stupid to see that the Neocons are manipulating them. This nonsense that Ukraine should not be split is insane. That was the ONLY way to stop the ethnic killing in Yugoslavia. Czechoslovakia split in two as well. The Minsk Agreement, which even Germany signed, was to allow the Donbas to vote. Merz refusal to honor the word of Germany is dooming Europe to World War III. If they reall want peace, surrender the Donbas. Else, then sacrifice all of Europe to a third world war. There will NEVER be peace with Russia because people like Kallas hate the Russian people.

The only way for Europe to avoid this war is to stand up and demand that they have a say in creating war. European leaders will lie and put Europe at risk for Ukraine, the most corrupt nation on Earth. Zelensky’s Chief of Staff is now implicated in stealing $100 million. How musch more money will the West hand these people to stuff in their private accounts. They never get enough. Are they paying kickbacks to NATO and Europeans leaders?

The destruction of Europe

War is a great way to default on debts. You get to form a new government, and they always disavow the debts of the previous government. Europe has been committing economic suicide. Between the COVID-19 Lockdowns, the NET-ZERO Climate Change, and then the sanctions on Russia that doubled their fuel costs, you could not ask for a more brain-dead group of politicians who have ZERO comprehension of even how the economy functions.
